Why this store is built around size
Most people buy a rug that is too small. It is the most common mistake in the room, the most common reason a rug is sent back, and it is arithmetic rather than taste.
What we do differently
Every other rug retailer sorts its catalogue by style, color or room. We looked at seven of them before building this site and not one organized by size, even though size is what people search for and what they get wrong. So size is the first thing here: 19 standard sizes, each with its own page, each showing only the rugs you can actually buy in that size, and each picture the photograph of that size rather than of a different one.
The size calculator on the homepage takes the measurements of your room and tells you which size fits. It exists to stop the return before it happens.
How we sell
We do not hold the rugs ourselves. They ship from the warehouses of the manufacturers who make them, which is why delivery is quoted per rug on the product page and why a return goes back to a warehouse rather than to us. Shipping is included in the price. What we own is the selection, the sizing and the accuracy of what you are told before you buy.
What we will not do
We do not publish ratings we do not have, and you will not find star counts on this site until there are real reviews behind them. We do not claim a rug is washable, non slip or made for outdoors unless the manufacturer states it. Those are promises you would test at home, and getting one wrong costs you an afternoon and a heavy parcel.
